Hi! Thank you again for considering my service.  Here are answers to some of my customers’ most frequently asked questions.  If you don’t see what you are looking for, please call me 415-269-5494.

Rates:
The base rate for a performance is $250.  This does not include

Performance Length:
My standard performance length is 30 minutes.  I apologize that I do not charge less for a shorter performance due to the significant investment required of me in planning and preparation time for a performance of any length.    

Music:
In addition to traditional belly dance music, I often perform to music from Greece, India, Iran, Israel, or Eastern Europe according to clients’ tastes.  You are most welcome to request songs that you would like me to perform with, based on your event planning needs.  Belly dancing is well suited to a variety of music.    

Logistics:
Usually, my performance is planned as surprise for party guests, so I stay out of sight until my music has begun playing.  I bring an assistant to coordinate timing with the DJ, bandleader, or event manager.  Video and photos will be taken during the performance; I can share these with you at no additional charge. 

Other Options:
In addition to a standard belly dance performance to spice up an event, I often conduct other belly dance-related activities. For example:

• Group Lessons:  It is a perfect activity (1 hr) for a girls night (or afternoon) out, bachelorette party, baby shower, or even a great team-building activity.  Basic belly dance movements will be combined together into a short, choreographed routine.  Fun for everyone!   
• Music Videos:  A belly dancer adds a unique, exotic, and captivating element to your music videos.  Stand out from the rest!

Tipping:
I do not solicit tips from guests at private events.  However, gratuities are always greatly appreciated!

Restaurants and Clubs:
A discounted rate is offered for regular, long-term engagements.  Belly dancing has proven to be a great draw not just at hookah bars and Middle Eastern restaurants but at upscale nightclubes ... and even sports bars! A great and unique way to set your venue apart from the competition.
